Bio

Natalie is a business adviser, trainer, mentor and consultant, working in innovative and creative ways to support the business development of her service users and clients. She has a solid background in business support having worked with a number of organisations in the fields of business advice, enterprise and entrepreneurship education and training.

Natalie has supported the start-up aspirations of entrepreneurs through her work with the Prince’s Trust, providing one-to-one guidance to clients to help them prepare their business plans and pitch for start-up funding. She designed and established the innovative student and graduate business support programme at the University of East London (UEL), organising and delivering an active calendar of workshops and seminars around business essentials including marketing, cashflow, accessing finance, market research and social media strategies. In recognition of the importance for some entrepreneurs to immerse themselves in their business planning, Natalie ran the "Theory to Practice" business and personal development residential programme for pre-start up and start-up businesses, for two years. Natalie also managed the business incubator at UEL, working with a number of businesses across a range of sectors.

Natalie’s work with student and graduate start-ups has been recognised through her Student Led Teaching Award nominations. Natalie has been named as a Social Enterprise Champion by UnLtd, the UK's leading social enterprise organisation, for her work identifying and supporting social entrepreneurs.

Natalie has run creative and service businesses, and utilises her experience to provide realistic, focused and highly practical support to others. Her business consultancy, 13 Rhythms, has developed excellent strategies in supporting creative start-ups, with this being a specialism. Natalie is keen to support, develop and mentor new and existing businesses, freelancers and the self-employed, through the provision of one-to-one and group support services.
